Design Identity Posters

"Where You At? Where You Going?" is a series of posters that showcase my design styles, choices, and who I am as a graphic designer. *Note: Posters are exported as CMYK for print, colours are not accurate on digital screen/RGB workspace.

OVERVIEW:

This assignment focuses on communicating my own design identity through a series of 11" x 7" posters. Using GenAI tools and design principles, I emphasized my photography with an editorial look.

ROLE:

INDIVIDUAL PROJECT - GRAPHIC DESIGN

DURATION:

JAN 2026

TOOLS:

ADOBE FIREFLY

LIGHTROOM

PHOTOSHOP

PROCESS:

For this assignment, I took self-portraits using a Canon R7 to serve as the focal point of my posters. My design style is deeply influenced by my photography, so incorporating creative shots of myself added a personal touch and character to the design. The photos were then edited on Lightroom, with basic light and colour correction.

Each poster has it's distinct style, playing with different elements like screen-tones and textures, motion blur, lines, and blurring.

Using Adobe Firefly, I adjusted/fine-tuned the images I shot, such as removing stray hairs, removing background, and creating a screen-tone texture.

After modifying the images, I edited and designed my posters in Photoshop, using visual elements and composition to reflect the emotions conveyed within each piece.
